Text chat added to Clubhouse

The developers of Club House have recently made the feature of sending a direct text message, or in fact a back channel, available to all users of both Android and iOS platforms. This way, in addition to direct chat, users can now chat in groups and send various links.

Although it is not yet possible to send pictures and videos, a spokesman for the Club House development team has confirmed that this feature will soon be available to users along with several other new features. There will also be a secondary mailbox built into the app to store requests.

This new feature helps channel managers interact with each other during voicemail sessions, people interact after an event, as well as text chat, which previously required the use of separate applications. It cannot be said that the development of this feature has been unpredictable. Club House some time ago in June Accidentally disclosed the addition of this feature.

However, this feature is certainly significant because, according to the developers, the Android Club House app has been downloaded more than 8 million times and 500,000 new rooms are created daily. The app’s competitors, Twitter and Facebook, with Twitter Spaces and Facebook Live Audio Rooms, in addition to holding live voice sessions, have long provided text chat to their users.

In the Live Audio Rooms section, anyone can be invited as a speaker and 50 people will be able to speak in the rooms at the same time. In addition, unlike the club house, there will be no limit on the maximum number of Roman listeners.

The Live Audio Rooms app has other great features, including live captions, as well as displaying notifications when your friends and followers enter a room. There is also a “raise a hand” button that is used to request to enter conversations. There are also various emojis to respond to conversations in this application. Not bad to know that at the moment only Twitter Twitter has live captions and Club House is still useless.

On the other hand, Twitter and Facebook are not the only ones claiming to gain more users this way. Spotify’s voice-based app, Green Room, was officially released some time ago for Android and iOS, the company’s first move to social platforms. This app, which is similar to a club house, allows users to talk about various topics with each other.

The app, created by Betty Labs, was acquired in March by Spotify, which focused more on sports topics, but with recent changes, people who installed the app solely for sporting purposes are now They will be faced with more options and topics.

Let’s go back to our discussion. As a result, the back channel allows House Class to reassure its users about their conversations and create a better social life for them. Do you think this new feature of Club House could play a role in its popularity or does this emerging social network need more items to take the place of its competitors?
